But on occasion it is found in high use areas like kitchens, that is why Marble Countertops in high use areas should be cleaned, sealed and inspected for damage every 6 months.
Travertine Countertops fall under the same scoped as Marble, it is soft also and can damage very easily. Travertine Countertops are recommended to be cleaned, sealed and inspected for damage every 9-12 months

We only use high quality solvent based sealers with low VOC, the Dense Stone Hybrid Solvent is formulated for Granite, Marble and Travertine and provides the best protection on the market. We do have a 2 year warranty on our sealer and it protects against staining and etching, it's simple if for any reason you acquire a stain or etch mark during the 2 years we will come out and fix it for FREE.
Our Polishing process is done using a mildly acidic Polishing powder, the powder is applied with water to the stone then is scrubbed with a veritable speed polisher . The powder reacts with the calcium in the stone which creates a beautiful deep shine.
