Granite is a very durable stone and can take abuse. Granite is one of a very few stones that can take acidic products without it damaging the surface. That being said granite needs to be cleaned and sealed with a dense stone sealer on a regular basis to ensure the stone lasts a lifetime.

Showers are usually not the best place for Marble, because it can damage very easily and constant water and soap will etch the surface very quickly. That is why Marble Showers should be cleaned, sealed and inspected for damage every 6 month

travertine 

Travertine Showers last longer then Marble Showers, but they still damage quickly. Travertine Showers should be cleaned, sealed and inspected for damage once a year.

ceramic & pocelain

Ceramic and Porcelain are your best fit in showers, the tiles are kiln fired and do not take damage on the surface. It is recommended for Showers to be cleaned and sealed every 12-24 months

We only use high quality solvent based sealers with low VOC, the Dense Stone Hybrid Solvent is formulated for Granite, Marble and Travertine and provides the best protection on the market. We do have a 2 year warranty on our sealing and it protects against staining and etching, it's simple if for any reason you acquire a stain or etch mark during the 2 years we will come out and fix it for FREE.

polishing  $2.00 a sq foot 

Our Polishing process is done using a mildly acidic Polishing powder, the powder is applied with water to the stone then is scrubbed with a veritable speed polisher. The powder reacts with the calcium in the stone which creates a beautiful deep shine.
